Kennedy Library a Culture Shock for Small-town Librarian

When you think of your local librarian, a small old lady who passes the time knitting may come to mind.

However, first-year English major Abby Edgecumbe puts a youthful spin on the traditional stereotype.

As a circulation desk attendant for most of high school, Edgecumbe thought she knew everything about library culture. That all changed when she came across the country to attend Cal Poly.
